When You Spiral After Conflict and Can’t Calm Down
A simple reset and practical framework to steady yourself and interrupt overthinking.
$27
The overthinking loop is exhausting.
You’re stuck feeling stressed, frustrated, and heartbroken for hours, days, and sometimes even weeks. It affects your mood, your energy, your appetite, your sleep, your joy, and your life.
It goes like this:
Trigger > Emotional spike > Overthinking > Self-criticism > Deeper dysregulation > Shame > Repeat
It’s the mental replay. The shutdown. The questioning. The self-doubt.
We call it overthinking, but it’s activation. Your nervous system reads it as a threat, and your mind tries to restore safety by replaying, analyzing, and searching for certainty.
But the more you think, the more activated you become.
You want a way out of the spiral and the loss of time, clarity, and confidence when anxiety rises and steals your steadiness.
The spiral hits your body long before logic catches up. You don't need a deep dive into your past, a full analysis of the spiral, or an emotional solution to your overthinking.
You need interruption.

This guide is for those moments when you’ve reacted and now you can’t stop replaying it, the conversation keeps looping in your mind, you feel embarrassed, frustrated, or ashamed about how you showed up, or your nervous system is activated and your thoughts won’t slow down.
This guide helps you interrupt that response and quickly return to steadiness.
Inside The Spiral Interruption you’ll learn:
A quick 5–10 minute reset to calm your nervous system when activation spikes
How the Self-Abandonment Loop quietly fuels overthinking and emotional spirals
The Four Self Trust Leaks that keep the cycle repeating
The Reset + Repair frameworks to rebuild steadiness and self trust after reactive moments
How to take small aligned steps that shorten the spiral over time
The spiral that happens after conflict or stress is exhausting.
You’re triggered, and suddenly your mind is ruminating and replaying everything. What was said, what was meant, what you wish you’d said or not said instead.
Your emotions spike. Your thoughts race. And your body feels unsteady. And the more you think you’re way through it, the worse it gets.
What we call overthinking is nervous system activation. Your body reads the moment as a threat, and your mind tries to restore safety by replaying, analyzing, and searching for certainty.
Meanwhile the spiral deepens.
You want a way out of the spiral and the loss of time, clarity, and confidence when anxiety rises and steals your steadiness.
The spiral hits your body long before logic catches up, leaving you activated and desperately searching for safety. Within that activation, you need a grounded way to quickly steady your body and bypass the survival pattern before it deepens.
You need regulated interruption.
Imagine the moment:
You had a difficult conversation or a moment of conflict.
Your chest feels tight.
Your stomach’s in knots.
And your mind is racing looking for a resolution.
You’re wondering:
Did I say the wrong thing?
Did I ruin this?
Should I try to explain?
Instead of spiraling for hours or days, you open this guide and walk through the reset. You steady your body. You interrupt the loop. You regain clarity without spiraling.
The Spiral Interruption gives you a quick, grounded way to return to yourself when that activation takes over.

The Spiral Interruption was created from my own lived experience and that of the nearly 100 women I’ve mentored through regulation and self trust.
I know what it’s like to get stuck for hours and days trying to steady myself. The exhaustion, overwhelm, and anxiety. This guide reflects the tools and framework to help you interrupt that pattern in real time and, over time, no longer find yourself repeating it.
My work lives within nervous system regulation and self-trust. I believe your body is working to protect you, and with the right tools, you can learn to respond with steadiness and regulation so fear no longer steers and your body feels safe.
